Special Meeting on Friday, December 17, St. Bede's, 7-10 p.m.
This Friday will be both a happy and a sad time. We'll do our Secret Santa gifts and some Christmas partying, so anyone who would like to contribute a snack, please do so. We will also be saying goodbye to a most valued member, Christina Mulvey, who is moving to Florida in a few days. We'll really miss Chris the Kind-Hearted.
We will also be working on our The Performing Arts Interest Project Patch and talking about our Silver Award project. Please bring your Silver Award Notebooks in case we need to update.

Dreams to Reality Status
The way our record keeping tells it, Katie, Evelyn, and Christina Gargiullo finished their D2R last year, Stephanie, Rossie, Liz, Diana, Chandler, and Anne finished theirs this year, Nicole, Jenny, and Afua each lack one more Career Exploration Activity, and Jamie and Aisha both need to do the whole thing. Let's make sure that our Silver Award notebooks get all this useful information written down on Friday.
Theater Tour in Gainesville
Two of the activities we have planned for January are our Court of Awards and our tour of Pearce Auditorium at Brenau to complete two Technology activities for The Performing Arts. Some girls suggested that we combine the two events, and if everyone is okay with the date, why don't we plan on January 15 (instead of January 7) pending confirmation from the Pearce Auditorium manager. We can plan to do our Court of Awards at St. Ives Coffee House in Gainesville.

We hope that anyone planning to attend the January 22 Etiquette and Manners Workshop sent in her registration by December 15. The next deadline coming up is for the Program Aide Weekend February 4-6. If you plan to attend, you need to get your registration in by January 10. Check our website for all the dates, details, and deadlines.
January 17 is the day we're planning to cook for Nicholas House Family Shelter. We'd like to hand out cookie permission forms on Saturday, January 15 and have them returned on Monday, January 17. We can all begin to take cookie orders on January 21, and they're due in to Mrs. Lott on January 30.
