Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, Inc. operates and maintains five camp properties that are used for outdoor activities, day camp, summer resident camp and troop camping throughout the year. Each camp has its own unique personality which stems from its location, facilities, activities offered, camper age groups, camp administration and its traditions passed on through the years.

Camp Misty Mountain is located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in northwest Georgia, surrounded by national forest with a 100-acre lake. With more than 900 acres of fields and forest, the property is a secluded yet accessible mountain getaway for Girl Scouts of every age. Although the council has had the property for almost 30 years, in the past 10 years the camp has been developed to accommodate year-round camping and a summer resident camp.

Facilities include a two-story dining hall, five winterized cabin units, a farmhouse with complete indoor bathroom and kitchen facilities, five platform tent units (seasonal use only) with bath houses and/or latrines and a unit shelter, and a partially screened cabin unit. Each living unit has a fire ring and outdoor program space. Many units are handicap-accessible.

Program areas include boardwalk, swimming pool, horseback riding facilities, challenge tower, low challenge course, volleyball court, canoe beach, archery and riflery ranges, craft pavilion, hiking trails and amphitheater.
