I walked into camp not knowing a soul, but everyone was so welcoming and kind. I learned so much in my classes, including knots and lashing, orienteering, and archery, and I gained great insight from other leaders, like ideas for badge activities and fundraisers. All leaders should experience something like this...I left renewed and inspired!
This year was my first year at Mountain Magic Leader Weekend and it was fabulous! I loved all my classes I took, and enjoyed just hanging out with other women/troop leaders. I'm already looking forward to next year's camp weekend! I'm spreading the word here in my service unit about my experience, so hopefully there will be more new faces in years to come!!
I LOVED IT! The whole thing. I haven't gone for the past three years, but it rocks! I want to go next year again.
This was my first year and I loved it. Everyone was so friendly and there was alot of information to be learned.
THANK YOU EVERYONE! It was a great weekend, from food to provided transportation, classes and all friends new and old and the weather! Can't wait til next year!!

It was wonderful to get away from everyday life with all GS women.
Loved relaxing, meeting new people, sharing ideas & learning new things!
A great wind-down from the holiday insanity and a great way to kick off the second half of the school/scout year!
Can snorers be put in their own cabin? (jk)
Bring back the firemen! (Comment from 2015 referring to 2013 when we had firemen from the Rome FD drop by in uniform to pick up the stuffed animals we had collected that year as our service project.)
Nice assortment of interesting classes. Learned lots of new skills to take back to the troop.
Thanks for another fun event. Love how you value our comments and make things even better from year to year! I really enjoy these training weekends.
