3 hour course for leaders to safely use a Dutch oven and prepare various meals in the out of doors. Content includes: buying and caring for cast iron cookware, distributing coals safety and correctly and cooking techniques for meal preparation.

Prerequisite: Platform Tents OR Firebuilding and Outdoor Cooking, 30 days prior to taking this class. Class will be given in October at Timberidge.
Food and cooking supplies Mess kit (plate, cup and bowl, plus eating utensils). Pencil & paper for notes. Handouts of recipes; LOTS of food to eat 6 18 4 hrs $20 Dee Komro,
