Explore Girl Scout traditions like friendship knots,
flag ceremonies, and ashes of friendship. Using Girl Scout Traditions in the
course of planning and carrying out ceremonies links girls to other Girl Scouts
and Girl Guides. This class helps you work with your girls so that they can plan
their own ceremonies to mark significant events in your troop's life.

A very large file of old ceremonies will be emailed to participants before the class. Materials to try out some of ceremonies will be provided by the instructor as will materials to learn to tie a Friendship Knot. |
