Following the costume contest we will enjoy short paper-bag skits by each cabin. Each cabin will randomly choose a paper bag with several items in it and an assigned Dr. Seuss story on which to base their skit. The group can choose to create a song or a skit, and may also decide which part of the story to tell in just a short skit, but they must use all the items in the bag. We invite the entire camp to come and see what unfolds.

Games, activities, socializing, and contest judging. Be ready to have a little fun!

This year's costume categories will be:

The Art of Tea Dueling New!

   Tea Duelling

Tea Dueling is a challenge of skill, technique and wits between two individuals. Each duellist chooses a weapon in the form of a bisquit (or a cookie, to us Americans). When directed by the Tea Dueling official, The Tiffin Master, duellists dunk their bisquit into a cup of hot tea for a count of five. At the end of the count, the duel is on! The duellists battle to be the last to achieve a clean “nom”. A duellist must manage to get the wet bisquit into their mouth before it breaks, falls into the teacup, on the table, or on their person. The last person to achieve this is declared the winner of the duel! Tea pot, tea, tea cups, cookies, plate for cookies, napkins, bibs, instructions Fun and competitive attitude. Wear costumes if wanted. Pens to take notes Flyer with info and website about Tea Dueling. 6 20 1½ hrs $2 Laurie Besmertnik
