girls! We'll sample some of the activities and discuss resources for the
Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador levels. |

Please bring: Scissors. Pencil or
pen. Scotch tape. One empty cereal box, GS cookie box, or other similar
cardboard box ~2" thick x 7" tall or bigger with flaps on top & bottom. (If bringing a cookie box, it doesn't have to be
empty LOL.) Optional: Sharpie. Ruler. Glue stick. You might enjoy bringing colored pencils in rainbow (ROYGBIV) colors, if you already have them, and some drawing paper. Optional: Download the PDF of the older girl badge(s) of interest and bring a printed copy to class if not purchasing or ordering booklets in advance. |
Handouts, knowledge, & resources. One diffraction
grating slide and other diffraction grating items. A dozen UV detection beads. Hands-on
experience sampling activities for each badge level. For optional in-class purchase: cardboard telescope demo kit (assembled in class) to take back to your troop if desired ($8.50); additional diffraction gratings ($0.50 each) Instructor will bring Space Science badge booklets from the Badge & Sash for anyone who has requested them in advance (~$2.70 each). |
