All classes/workshops have a limited number of spaces and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Current council COVID guidelines include that masks must be worn while indoors (instructors exempt) except when eating, and gathering sizes are max 25 per indoor session (including instructors). Our class size limits are shown below and are well below the limit.

Camp Helper Camp helpers assist the Planning Committee by collecting class rosters and taking photos of classes in progress. You'll walk around insdie the building and possibly outside on the campus to capture what the classes are doing. You may also get to do some administrative tasks like filing or stuffing envelopes. Want some ideas to make your camping trips a bit easier? The Cat's Meow Washer Medallions

This class helps you understand the importance of moving from simple hunts and hikes in your community (close to your meeting site), to short day trips, and longer trail walks (lasting most of the day or longer). Discuss skills needed, things to pack, and items to consider when exploring further out. You will investigate common fears and concerns girls and adults may have as well as reviewing Leaving No Trace Principles. Orienteering Fun

Spend some time learning the four cardinal points of direction, how to use a compass, knowing your pace, and all about maps (road maps, site maps, contour maps), then put it all together and play some games and explore ways to use your knowledge (letter boxing, geo-caching, and orienteering courses and events).

Create 3 custom projects - Learn to use a pre-cut vinyl design to make a custom t-shirt (using iron on vinyl), a custom can Koozie, and how to use cardstock layers to create a beautiful pop-up card.

NOTE: this is NOT a Cricut class, and you will not learn how to use a Cricut machine (as there are many different kinds of machines and each one operates differently).  This class does NOT require knowledge of Cricut machines or other electronic cutting machines. The designs will be pre-cut and you will learn how to "weed" the cut vinyl and use it on projects.
