Mountain Magic Weekend 2017
will be held
January 20-22, 2017
at
Camp Misty Mountain
in the mountains of NW Georgia.
This will be our 16th annual fabulous weekend retreat!
All adult Girl Scouts, leaders, & volunteers are invited.
Select from over 50 sessions of crafts, council classes, and fun!
Our theme for 2017 is "A Medieval Faire at Misty Mountain".
The Middle Ages come to Misty Mountain!
Enter the Age of Knights and Lords and Ladies and Serfs! Think 5th -15th century
Europe. Think castles, knights in shining armor/chivalry, and royalty (kings/queens/princesses).
Think King Arthur & Camelot, Joan of Arc, Robin Hood, Dante, Charlemagne, and
perhaps even some Viking invaders. Think jousting, turkey legs, troubadours, peasants, and damsels in distress..... What would you add to this list?
Have fun on the mountain! Relax, rejuvenate and make new friends!
Take a breather from your everyday responsibilities!
Let your spouse or your best friend take care of the kids!
Pamper yourself - you deserve it!
Mountain Magic Leader Weekend is an ALL-VOLUNTEER-run event hosted by the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta Council.
All registered adult Girl Scouts & Girl Guides are welcome to attend.
